Have you walked into your home or office and found a great big puddle of water from a busted pipe? Don't panic but quick action is your best chance of preventing a permanent water stains or worse, permanent damage to your carpets.

While your waiting try and sop up as much moisture as you can with towels or cloths. Due to the natural movement of moisture during the drying process, the dirt and dust that had been sitting at the base of the carpet pile is being "wicked" up to the surface causing the brown stains you usually see after a flood.
